Students use the ABeka program. The curriculum is challenging, with biblical integration, and places emphasis on math, phonics, and penmanship, along with drills and routine assessments.
An introduction to an animal friend for each letter of the alphabet along with letter recognition, sounds, and letter formation.
Hands on activities are used to learn number recognition of 1-15, rote counting 1-30 and number concepts 1-10.
Each student will have the opportunity to talk to God through prayer, hear God’s Word through song and daily lessons and learn God’s Word through memory verses.
Students will participate in activities that aide in the development of small motor skills, such as cutting, coloring and other crafts and materials, along with the opportunity to be creative.
Students receive evaluations at the end of quarters 1 and 3, and progress reports at the end of quarters 2 and 4.

All cups, food, clothes, etc. MUST be labeled.
Some extra supplies may be needed during the year and parents can expect to replenish according to class or grade requirements.
Each student will need to keep a change of clothing (weather appropriate) at school at all times (including socks and undergarments). Please place your child’s name on each article of clothing and the Ziploc bag they are contained in.
Due to storage limitations, each student from Walkers – K4 will be provided with one LMCA tote bag that should be used to bring bedding items to and from school on a weekly basis. Backpacks and other non-LMCA bags will not be permitted. If an additional tote bag is needed, a $5 charge will be incurred.
