Why
Missions
1. The students see and marvel
at how happy people can be, even
if their worldly possessions add
up to basically nothing.
2. The students on these trips
planning to do great things for
other people, and they do. But
they come home amazed at how
blessed they were in the process
and realize in a big way how
much you are blessed when you
give of yourself to others.
3. The students return feeling
connected within the world-wide
body of Christ. They picture
what their new friends might be
doing right at that moment. They
wonder how they are doing, pray
for their walk with Christ, and
look forward to seeing them
again here on earth or in
heaven.
4. The students catch the vision
for global missions. Many
students return on mission trips
year after year. The
implications of this kind of
involvement can be phenomenal
and far-reaching, from the
active financial support of
missions to the possible
commitment of a life to mission
service.
5. There are children and adults
in Hong Kong, Venezuela, Costa
Rica, Mexico, Peru, and Romania
who have been impacted by Christ
because of interactions they had
with our teams.
